  • The Customer already has a decent-sized estate in Microsoft Azure.
  • There was a relatively small amount of technical debt to analyse.
  • Azure cloud services were selected to accommodate the acquisition strategy & enable the migration of assets from any new acquisitions.
  • The existing on-premise estate was targeted for a migration to Azure.
  • A very small proportion of the estate was targeted to be retained and investigated, primarily the mainframe and itanium based applications.
